Vin from Mistborn

 

Some copy paper came out of the printer blank with ink marks all over it at my workplace, and I was told to recycle them. It seemed like a waste of good paper, so I drew on them. These are some drawings I did of the character Vin from Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn Saga. Her hair is honestly a little long in these, unless these are supposed to be from the second book. In the first book, her hair barely gets long enough to where it looks like a choice rather than having grown out from being cut short.

Vin captivated my imagination because she's itty-bitty small, but she has the powers of a superhero.

The above picture was also drawn on letter paper in church, and is an older drawing. You can see one of my notes above it, "action of cape is wrong". In this first drawing, I forgot the Mistborn are often described as going barefoot. She could also have more tension in her expression. In official art, the cloaks are shown as having a scarf around their neck as well.
